W dniu 16 sierpnia 2023 r. zmarł dr hab. Wojciech Maria Gawlikowicz, prof. UKSW. Profesor Gawlikowicz był specjalistą w zakresie badania i modelowania mechanizmów reakcji jądrowych, a także technik eksperymentalnych związanych z detekcją cząstek naładowanych i neutronów. Pracował na Wydziale Biologii i Nauk o Środowisku UKSW od 2010 roku. Wcześniej po powrocie ze stażu prodoktorskiego w USA pracował w Środowiskowym Laboratorium Ciężkich Jonów przy projekcie EURISOL-DS i na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim uzyskał stopień doktora habilitowanego. ...

Wojtek Gawlikowicz passed away

On August 16, 2023, Dr. hab. Wojciech Maria Gawlikowicz, profesor of UKSW. Professor Gawlikowicz was a specialist in the field of research and modeling of nuclear reaction mechanisms, as well as experimental techniques related to the detection of charged particles and neutrons. He has been working at the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Sciences of UKSW since 2010. Earlier, after returning from a postdoctoral fellowship in USA, he worked at the Heavy Ion Laboratory on the EURISOL-DS project and here obtained his habilitation degree at the University of Warsaw....
