On the 16^th of October 2021 Marek Budziszewski, a long-term employee of the Heavy Ion Laboratory of the University of Warsaw, passed away. He was a man of a great work culture, kind to people, straightforward and helpful. We will miss him.

W dniu 16 paździenika 2021 r. zmarł Marek Budziszewski, wieloletni pracownik Środowiskowego Laboratorium Cieżkich Jonów UW. Był człowekiem wielkiej kultury pracy, życzliwy ludziom, prostolinijny i uczynny. Będzie nam go brakować.

On September 20, 2021, one hundred years will pass from the date of birth of Prof. Zdzisław Wilhelmi, the successor of Andrzej Soltan's work on the development of nuclear physics in Warsaw, long-term head of the Department of Nuclear Physics at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw. Professor Wilhelmi left us on December 27, 2013....
