The project to expand the Warsaw U-200P Cyclotron accelerator complex at the Heavy Ion Laboratory, entitled “POLRIB@HIL: Development of Radioactive-Beam Research at the Heavy Ion Laboratory,” has been included in the list of strategic research infrastructures on the Polish Research Infrastructure Roadmap.
The project aims to upgrade the Heavy Ion Laboratory at the University of Warsaw, enabling it to provide users with radioactive ion beams generated using its two cyclotrons: the U-200P heavy-ion cyclotron and the PETtrace dual-beam proton–deuteron cyclotron. It will also support the effective use of these beams at the Laboratory’s experimental facilities....Development of HIL on the Polish Research Infrastructure Roadmap
