Dates of call for proposals, deadlines and details of submission and dates meetings
The deadline for submitting proposals and Letters of Intent: 1st of October 2024 (12:00 CET)
PAC Meeting: 27th-28th of November 2024
- Proposals for the NFS facility need to consider specific characteristics available on the NFS Web page.
- For proposals of experiments in the D6 experimental hall in 2026, scientific coordinators of LISE and related detectors must be contacted at least one month before the proposal submission.
- SPIRAL1 experiments and beam developments are encouraged. Since 2021, several in beam tests have been performed at the SPIRAL1 complex. The consolidated yields are given here.
Requests for test-beam time in auxiliary mode is encouraged via the following form.
Submission procedure:
- Prior to the proposal submission, you are requested to communicate with the equipment scientific coordinators (see list at the bottom of the page here)
- The proposal should be submitted to GANIL via online submission using the following web form https://u.ganil-spiral2.eu/pac/.
- The spokesperson will be notified of the validity of the proposal for submission to the PAC by email from the GANIL Beam Coordinator, before October 5th, 2024.
- Each collaborator must confirm before submission of the proposal form that they have read the proposal and have agreed to participate in the experiment.
- Spokespersons and all collaborators are required to subscribe as members of the GANIL User Community (GUC). To become a member, please see here.
Important Notes:
- Accepted proposals are valid for a three-year period and can be scheduled at any time during this period. Beyond this period the validity of the physics case has to be reevaluated by the PAC independently of the reasons for its non-realization.
- Approved experiments will follow the GANIL data management plan and data policy
- Approved experiments must follow the GANIL Publication Policy
