Dates of call for proposals, deadlines and details of submission and dates meetings

The next meeting of the ALTO PAC (Programme Advisory Committee) will be held at IJCLab from the 13th to th 14th of February at Orsay.

Proposals or Letters of Intent can be now be submitted to be considered at this next PAC meeting. The deadline is the 2nd of February 2025 at 23:59. The beam time requests for the period of March 2025 to March 2026 will be examined.

The submission of proposals must be done through the ALTO Users Group (AUG) website (https://alto-users.ijclab.in2p3.fr/). All the instructions and the template are provided in the AUG website (at the “Submit a proposal” section). To login you will first be asked to register as an ALTO User. Please use your previous account is you have already created one.

For the period of March 2025 to March 2026 the PAC will consider applications for both areas of the facility: ALTO-HEB and ALTO-LEB. The beam productions for both areas and the list of the current instruments and the name of the person in charge is available here. Only commissioned experiments will be evaluated by the PAC. Some instruments could have beamtime scheduled in the next evaluated period.
